SAP IQ - Day of the Week Function Issue

Can someone please help

Trying to set the first day of the week to be MONDAY

Description

We have code that uses the following code to identify the day of the week :-

Select datepart(dw,getdate()).

Select DOW(getdate()).

Business requires that the first day of the week in Monday .

We can get datepart(dw,getdate()) to do this by setting option First_Day_Of_Week to 1.

However this setting has no impact on DOW(getdate()) ;

We tried setting the value of Date_First_Day_Of_Week, this  option has no impact on DOW(getdate()) or  datepart(dw,getdate()).

How do we impact output of DOW function to set first day of week to Monday?
